North End went goal crazy in the semi final, against a well organised West Brom side, who was favourites to win WorldNET. North End started very bright, takin the lead very early in the game thanks to Matty Scott, getting on the end of a flick down from George.

George got on the score sheet himself to make it 2-0 to the whites. West Brom pulled a goal back to make it a tense affair for the second half. Preston started the second haf just like they started the first, grabbing a goal right from the off.

Gaz Markes got a goal from a corner kick, to settle any nerves that might have kicked in. Andy Dodwell came off the bench to all but secure the victory to lead Preston to the final of WorldNET 2008.
