Before i begin all credit must go to Rochdale for being so generous in what must have been painful defeat for them, and if truth was known they should have took the lead within the first five minutes but somehow we got out of jail on that one and slowly but surely we clawed our way into the game.

The first 20 mins we wanted too much time on the ball and the Rochdale lads weren't for letting us have any time what's so ever on the ball and as a consequence we seemed to be back peddling a lot but like i say we gradually got ourselves into the game. I would have settled for 0-0 at half time but two great crosses from Andy Dodwell followed by a great pull back from Johnny PNE saw us go into the break 2-0 to the good. Those chances were gleefully hammered home by Matty Scott and Chris Chambers respectively.

The second half was much the same with every ball hotly contested but it was another goal by Chris Chambers half way through the second half that was the killer blow for Rochdale. Chambers grabbed himself his second hat trick in two game against them to take us further ahead before a spirted fight back from Rochdale saw them grab an equaliser righ at the death.

I am buzzing from that win to be honest, it was a tough game and we were without some good players but credit must go to the likes of Chris Chats, Wacka, Johnny Pne, Stu Bolton for playing out of position for me and doing such an incredible job with Wacka deservedly receiving the man of the match award from the Rochdale team for his performance. Saying that every player deserves credit for their own performance i thought you all wore the shirt with pride so well done lads and once again it was good to give all the subs a good run out.
