It was a tough game for us and credit to Liverpool for making it that way. Saying that I thought we gradually got on top as the game wore on so it was no surprise when we scored our first goal before half time.

After the break we had numerous chances to put the game to bed but were made to pay for our missed opportunities as Liverpool got back in the game with a snap shot from the center back. Back we came and duly went back in front but further missed opportunities saw Liverpool draw level with a good goal but a disappointing one form our point of view.

Only seconds remained when we grabbed the winner a winner I felt we just about deserved.

Thanks to every player who came down today it was game I was desperate to play and I know the conditions weren't the best but thanks for making the most of it and giving it your best shot.
