I thought we played some fantastic football and on another day we would not have come across a keeper as big and has agile as their lad. The two goals we did get were extra special and they had to be. We went 2-0 down with their first two shots on goal and then basically pinned them back for the rest of the half getting a deserved goal just before half time.

In the second half we started the same yet in their first attack one of our inexperience lads bit when he shouldn't have and the resulting pen making it 3-1 killed us off. Their further goals were coming from us all pushing forward but we scored a cracker at the death to leave our mark on the game.

I though we played some excellent football and many a time we put 6 and 7
passes together finishing off with a shot on goal, we smacked the crossbar
twice and the post twice. You can't do anymore than that but luck wasn't with is
and like Steve said the score line is a bit of a joke.

Credit to Southampton after saying all that, we have beat them twice by
heavy margins and those score lines didn't reflect those game so maybe this game
was pay back time, they are a great set of lads and we have great relationship
with them now.

Last word to the ref he told me he had packed Sunday League reffing up
because of the abuse he was getting but thought this was an absolute pleasure to
ref and even at 5-1 down he said you kept trying to play the game in the right sprit and nobody complain about anything. Again that's what it's all about and I am happy that we are getting there ourselves.
