QPR had some real quality on display and deserved to win the game. I also feel for QPR to put a side like that out against us is huge compliment to us guys but my lads deserve a lot of credit for having a real go back on them still that decisive 2nd goal went in.
This was after our best spell of the game which resulted in our one real chance of the day when Jason latching on to great throughout ball from Jimmy Higgins snatched at his shot and sliced high and wide of the QPR goal. After that we conceded the penalty and it was basically game over. This has always this was a chance for two groups of supporters to come together and help build bridges between them and this was achieved.
The QPR lads were sound and Juzza the QPR Director of Football kindly bought us all a drink after the game. I think there is great respect now from each side now towards the other and that is what we all wanted to achieve.
Good Luck to QPR in their quest for the play-offs having played all the top teams QPR if they have the same side out every week are streets ahead of anybody else in terms of quality.
Thanks to all my team who again played their heart out for the shirt even though they had set off at the unearthly time of 4:30am to make this fixture. I will always say there is no other Fans team out there that do what we do week in week out season after season
