Thanks again to the Oxford lads for helping us out. As for the game I thought we did enough to win but we just ran out of legs at the end and Farnborough came back to equalise with five minutes to go.
I think it was Fulham who came to ours in the first season and said you
can't do a double header with 12 men well their right but in our case it was 10
men. Saying all that this is IFA football and the respect we got from both
Farnborough and Southampton for doing what we did says it all for me.
We could easily have cancelled both these game or at least one but I didn't and had no intention of doing so and the 10 lads who came epitomized what this league and what we are about. Thanks To Chris for the beer on the journey home and fantastic pitch he got for us and finally his players. I recognised just a couple from last year so well done to him for getting a new team together.
