The rear guard of Atky, Steve, Alex and Mike were also running the show from the back. Tranmere had one or two efforts on goal, nothing really bothering Chris in the Preston goal.

It was Ash who came on in the first half for Andy that grabbed the second goal of the game. The goal came from a dashing run from Jason. Dodwell Jnr's striker came back off the post, Ash who was in the right place at the right time smashed the rebound into the net.

Preston made some subs towards the end of the game. Jimmy, Dan, Jimmy Pete and Des all came on for the remainder of the match whom all played a part in the game.

Well done to Ash for getting his second goal for the team and picking up the Man Of The Match award.
