Preston North End 4-5 Rochdale

You can't expect to conceded five goals and win a football match! And that's what happen in today's game against Rochdale. Preston look vulnerable right from the start in today's game against the pace and power of the Rochdale team.

Every time Rochdale went forward they looked like they would score and Preston had to count themselves rather fortunate that they were only 4-1 down at half time.

But the Preston Manager refused to be downhearted at half time and duly set about telling his players that they were better than Rochdale and they could still get something out of the game and so it proved as Preston completely dominated the second half.

In fact if it was for a freak Rochdale goal half way through the second half then the game could have finished all square. But the fifth and final goal proved to be just a bridge to far for the Preston Lads.
