Preston North End 6-1 Norwich City

We didn't play that well today but saying that we have so much fire power up front that it will take a good team to stop us scoring even if we aren't playing well. Saying that Norwich had real go today and it was worrying how many times they got in behind us but again i feel that only happen when we took our foot of the gas!

It's shame that a few players missed out today but the new lads Jacko, Martin and Stu told me what a privilege it is to play for the fans team and how much they enjoyed their first league game for us. That tells me that the players who missed out are the real losers in all this.

As for the game; We took the lead early on through Andy Dodwell and basically never looked back. Norwich had a few decent spells but we always looked like we could step it up a gear. Further goals followed from Jason Dodwell and Chris Chambers (who got 4) even though he openly admitted he wasn't at his best. So all in all a great start to the season for us.

Also a special mention to the Norwich City goalkeeper who pulled of some incredible saves.
