An 8-1 victory says it all really. We boss the game from start to finish and never looked in any trouble throughout the game. Morecambe have some good individual players but football is a team game and at this present moment in time i don't think there is a better "team" playing in the fans league than Preston North End Fans team.

A special word must go to my front players Chris Chambers, George, Jason and Andy Dodwell when these guys are on fire i feel there isn't a better attacking formation in this league than these lads. Also a big up to Stu at right back he had is hands full during the early parts of the game but he stuck to his task and i gave him the man of the match for is efforts

Well done to all the players who came down today it was great to see such a good turn out. It was also good to see Matty back! Once he realizes what we are trying to do and what the fans league is all about then he will be ok. Matty also look like he wanted to play when he came on yesterday so lets hope he can keep that up. Thanks again to all players for making the early kick off before making our way back home to watch the Preston V Colchester game later in the afternoon!!!!.

Also thanks to the lads who made it on to the promenade to have a look at the Eric Morecambe Statue. I loved the guy and i have always wanted to see his statue. Thanks also to one of the lads, who, when Des said he didn't know who Eric Morecambe was, pursued him to go by saying he was a famous footballer and he used to play for Aston Villa.
